Forum Discussion
Hi there, @honestbleeps.
I too play RD and it's not uncommon to have an AI D partner. I'll keep an eye out for this. It hasn't been happening to me yet. It could have to do with the strategies you're using. I typically set ours to High Pressure and haven't noticed them crowding me. If possible, try getting some video of it and let me know what strategies you're using.
I took some videos yesterday... I forgot at times to check the strategy - which by the way seems to have inconsistent/changing defaults (boy I wish I could set defaults for my team)?

Video 1 - arguably the least-bad one, you could argue I should've switched with CPU D when he took it into the zone on the right side - but still, even after we exit/re-enter the zone, he's on my side.
Video 2 - ignore first half of video, 30s clips on xbox are not ideal -in second half, CPU D doesn't leave the puck for me to grab, comes to my side.
Video 3 - ignore first half again - second half, CPU D drifts to my side and even ends up to the right of me, seemingly for no reason.
Video 4 - Again, skip about halfway+ in - CPU D again ends up on my side and even a bit to the right of me.

sorry, not sure if I needed to tag you or not, @EA_Aljo - so replying once more just to make sure you see. In the future, let me know if that's helpful or just noise.

Thanks for the videos. What are your strategies set to?

Like I mentioned in the previous post I'm not 100% sure for all 4 videos, but I did take screenshots for one of them. The problem is that the default strategies seem to vary even for my same EASHL team and sometimes I forget to set them at the start of the game. They weren't set this way "on purpose", just to be clear...
Forecheck:
- offensive zone bias - balanced
- offensive zone - 2-3
- neutral zone - 1-3-1
Breakout:
- offensive pressure - full attack
- quick breakout - stay wide
- power play breakout - single swing (the time I got this screenshot we happened to be on the PP)
I'm guessing (hoping?) you're asking for the strategies to help try and recreate the issue, and not suggesting that this is how the CPU D should play with certain strategies :-)
