CPU Defense keeps coming to human D's side / playing right next to him
Product: NHL 22
Platform:Xbox Series X
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play EASHL with one human D and one CPU D. Over the course of a full game, it'll happen several times.
What happens when the bug occurs? You will find that throughout the course of a game, many many times, the CPU D will come over and play the human D's side of the ice - meaning 2 d-men are near the center of the blue line rather than, for example, one at the left and one near the center, or left/right, etc. I exclusively play RD, for example, in EASHL. When we have a CPU D-man, at least a couple of times a period, he'll drift over to my side even if I'm decently in position.
What do you expect to see? I expect the CPU D to stay on his own side of the ice. Even if I vacate my position (maybe the AI thinks I am? I don't think I am usually), LD shouldn't be covering for RD and just abandoning his post at LD. It makes sense for forwards to cover for D, but not D for D having them both right next to each other.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online

Not much to add beyond what I already put in the bug report, which I'll paste again here because I'm not sure how this will display in my forum post:
