Create Helmetless players

Is there any plans to release a patch that will lets us create players without helmets for offline modes? 

Its 1 of the last absolutely needed features we would like.

Completely agree. Also please let us add the vintage masks to our created goalies so we can create missing legends like Ken Dryden.

Ditto that…need variety - 22 implemented Roster share but Orr- Hull ect didnt wear helmets…!

There were several other comments posted by other users for both of these years.  If the Alumni players included in the game can have a "no helmet" option there is no reason we can't create players without helmets.  Also, there are several goalies within the Alumni teams that have the old school Friday the 13th hockey masks so why can't we have that option for created goalies as well?  The last NHL game produced for the 360 had this option.  NHL2K8 by 2K Sports had the vintage goalie mask option!  Actually, two versions with logos and color options!!  That was 13 years ago!  Come on EA.  This is not cool at all.

The only conclusions I can come up with are that either the moderators don't read these forum postings or they simply don't care since they're the only game in town.  In any case, what a HUGE disappointment that once AGAIN in NHL 22 they didn't add what the customers wanted.

I also challenge the moderator to answer these postings with an answer containing substance (my previous questions over the last two years have been responded with crickets).  Please don't give me an answer like "the NHL requires helmets now" or something of that nature.  This whole gaming experience is a fantasy simulation.  There are no helmets on many Alumni players and there are no helmets on the CHEL players.  There's no valid reason we shouldn't be able to create players without helmets.  Period.

EA is testing my loyalty and patience beyond the limits.

It is definitely frustrating because I can't imagine it would be a very complicated thing to implement. It requires no additional assets, and the option to have a helmetless player is already in the game in the World of CHEL game mode. The models for vintage goalies masks are also already in the game, so I fail to see what the issue is. This seems like something that could be done quickly and done in the latest patch.

Many of my friends bought 22 and say they really like it. 

They did add TONS of play by play names this year.

But ya we definitely need 22 or hopefully NHL 23 to have these things included

Be sweet too if we could have a proper player card for created players instead of a grey outline pic.

Lastly I'd LOVE for the arena announcer to be able to announce a created players name after a goal.

@AtishksinghThanks. Not meaning to be insulting. Just constructive criticism backed by my factual experience. My opinion? They did add some things but it's extremely frustrating when year after year they don't respond to messages and don't add what the customers want. I also like NHL 22 but am still disappointed by their create a player shortcomings. Be well and stay safe!
