Drafting a Franchise Potential Player

Hey guys, I’m not sure if I am explaining this correctly but I’ll give it a shot. In the draft I am trying to find a franchise potential player in the middle or later in the first round. I have seen...

Your potential is just based on the overall of your player. If it goes up higher, it should change. However, potentially, in BAP, is purely visual and doesn't have an impact on your player.

@EA_Aljo Right, I understand what you're saying. Potential has no impact on if my player's OVR goes up. When I play well I increase my own attributes which changes my OVR.

What I am talking about is that does the potential labeling change at all (Elite Medium —> Elite High —> Franchise Medium —> Franchise High). My player is 21 years old, currently a 94 OVR and an Elite Medium potential.

All I am asking is shouldn't my player be labeled as a Franchise Medium/High based off my OVR?
