@jonseyythegreat
I appreciate acknowledging that I made some good points. But, I don't appreciate your arrogant attitude towards me or the rest of the people commenting on this topic. My intentions are not to be rude or argue with you. I simply want to set things straight because, you seem to have misunderstood my earlier post.
Okay. So, I understand how hockey works in real life. I'm sure most of the people commenting do as well. But, that has nothing to do with my comment. Of course the best team doesn't always win but, the team that plays the best during that game or if the lesser team at least competes with the better team and gets a lucky bounce it can result in a "underdog" victory. I'm sure you understand what underdog means, judging by you educating all of us on how hockey works which showed you have some extensive knowledge about the sport. Haha, I tease.
Anyways, we (I think most will agree although I can't speak for you all) aren't talking about slightly less talented teams vs more talented teams. As is the NHL. I personally believe that of all major North American pro sports, hockey is by far the most competitive from top to bottom. So yes you will see that in real life because the underdogs are still very talented professional athletes! Answer me this, please... If the Boston Bruins played a mediocre Division 2 college team 10 times, how many times would the Bruins win out of those 10? I'll give you a minute to make a decision.....
Times up.
I would bet a lot of money they would win, every time. I even think it would be quite easy every time. So when I discuss the ice tilt that is what I am referring to. I have lost in the past to less talented, but still skilled guys. I am aware when I get out played by a decent player and will admit it. But I, and I'm sure others discussing this topic, are frustrated when a team, (I.e. The D-2 school) who doesn't belong on the ice with me (Bruins) is the benefit of an ice tilt. I agree, talent vs talent can be a toss up any day of the week. But complete garbage vs talent winning because of cpu manipulation is a joke.
So please, don't approach me with your condescending, righteous attitude without fully understanding my point just for the sake of an argument and to feel good about yourself.
Also, I wasn't talking myself up to look "cool" or be cocky. I was simply making readers aware that I'm not just some bush league joke of a player. I never said I was better than you or anyone commenting. All I said was I am a good player. Which is my opinion and I'm entitled to say. I do apologize if what I said upset you. Or if you somehow feel threatened by what I said. It seems like it made you uncomfortable enough that you felt the need to throw a jab and then try and challenge me. I also did not realize that you were the Judge of talent. But if that's the case I will make sure and recommend you to everyone before they claim to be good. Then you can scout them, decide, and tell them how to describe their level of play That way you won't run into any more misunderstandings like we had.
Well, good talk, glad we got to the bottom of this, Coach. Let me know when you are holding combines so i can get evaluated by you. Really looking forward to finally knowing where i stand in the eyes of someone as great as you.
