Error at end of game

Did this just happen the one time or do you also disconnect or lag at other times? Unfortunately, we're not able to modify records.

Exact same thing happened. to me. Cant even pause a game or finish a squad battle without the game freezing or crashing. Happened on the play, got marked a zero. Happened on the replay, got marked a zero.

Did this just recently start happening? If I understand you right, every game you play crashes or freezes? Are you losing connection or is the game shutting down and taking you back to your console's home screen?

This started happening occasionally Thursday night, and has gotten worse through this weekend, and it's still happening. One of two things happen in nearly every game I play. Keeping in mind, I've been playing Rivals and Squad Battles, and I think I played one HUT challenge, just to finish my objectives. Most commonly, in the middle of a match, the game will freeze up and when it finally resumes, I'll get a notification that I've lost connection to EA's servers. This happens more frequently (although not exclusively) going into an intermission or if I pause the game. Occasionally, instead of popping up with that lost connection notification, the game will lock up altogether, to a point that it wont even let me close the game or shut down my PS4. It just does nothing, and I end up having to unplug the console while power is still running to it.   

I've cycled power off multiple times to both the PS4 and the modem. I use a direct ethernet connection, and I haven't noticed any connection issues with any of my other devices.  Speed tests how that I'm getting a solid 88 mbps down/7 mbps up, and a steady 15-22 ping on my wireless devices so it doesn't seem to be an issue with my connection to anything else. As far as the PS4 goes, I can play other games just fine. I can stream Netflix or Youtube just fine with no interruptions, and I'm reading on places like Reddit that a lot of folks are having similar server issues to what I have, and they all started right around the same time. I'm not sure if it's an EA hardware issue or if it's just a spike in playerbase over the holidays that the servers can't keep up with, but I sure do hope it's resolved soon.

Has it been a while since you power cycled your equipment? If so, try doing it now with these steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up.

Also, it might be good to rebuild the database with these instructions. Also, try restoring your licenses with the steps here. 

As I said in the second paragraph of my response, I have power cycled everything multiple times since Thursday. 

A lot of people seem to be having this issue with NHL 21 on multiple forums and the issue started for everyone around Thursday or Friday. I think it's pretty obvious that the issue is on EA's end.

We're not aware of any issues and aren't getting many reports about this. The best I can do is troubleshoot your connection. If you want to do that, let me know.

It happened to me a couple times...

I've noticed a similar issue with the Hut Rush games, as it would do the same thing, or not register points or achievements.

I did the same thing cycled power, and it happened again.

Objectives in HUT Rush won't count if they don't make a difference in the play. Meaning, you can't just do dekes in your zone with no threat from opposing players. They need to be used in a way that progresses the play and gets you around defenders.
