"Feature" request - pick up/try to pick up the puck

I'm a long time fan of the NHL series but a little disappointed at some of the things that haven't changed over time.  My biggest gripe with NHL 21 and recent years is the times you skate right by the puck or right through the opponent's stick (while he's handling the puck) and nothing happens.  If you are skating by a loose puck, your player either picks up the puck or doesn't try at all.  It's hard to gauge how much closer you need to get to the puck (with the players specific arm length/stick length) if they don't even try to pick up the puck.  If they reached for it then I'd have some idea of how much closer I needed to be and I feel like there would be a more natural learning process.  Along the same lines, there are many times where I skate through the opponents stick and the opponent somehow keeps the puck on their stick.  That's not how it works in real life hockey.  Positioning means something in real hockey, even if all that happens is you disrupt their puck handling.  In real hockey, it's not all poke checks/stick lifts/body checks.  Sometimes you're in the right place and you just take the puck.  Acquiring the puck should be automatic in NHL 21...  Thanks for hearing me out and please please fix this.

    Hello, @Mattio82,

If you are skating through the carrier's stick, it should be dislodging the puck. They can reacquire it due to positioning though. If you can get some video highlighting your issues, we'll review it to see if there's anything going on that shouldn't be.
