You really don't see why they wouldn't want to bother with antagonistic posts like this?
They have officially stated there were no changes to gameplay in the last tuner and players are adamant there were so they were asked to provide examples, I don't think that's asking too much. Wouldn't you want to show without a shadow of a doubt that they are wrong and their code sucks? Just give irrefutable proof, you'll be hailed as a hero everywhere and force EA to run away with their tails between their legs.
Passing was changed to reduce accuracy when not looking at the receiver and the weird bubble was removed from players so they can get rocked now, even when L2ing - I've probably gotten 15 good hits a game now as a 6 foot Sniper.
Other than L2ing, what are you expecting from videos? Cross-creasers and short-side snipes are deadly in real life. Heck, people even rag the puck too. Ratboy Marchand, Thornton, Burns, Spezza are all hard to bump off the puck and players like Gretzky, Datsyuk and Sakic skated circles around people. You can replace any of the brain dead AI with Quinn Hughes it wouldn't make a difference either
Show me videos of ANY of the guys you mentioned holding the puck during 5 on 5 play for a minute at a time. Or 30 seconds. Or even 15 seconds. Show me how they skate back and forth along the boards. Over and over. Show me how no player can bump them off the puck while doing so. Show me.
I am not antagonizing. I am asking that EA and the cheesers and exploiters prove to me that how they play and how the game currently runs is similar to REAL hockey.
Yes, cross crease one timers in REAL hockey are deadly. Sure, awesome snipes are great and score. But when they are merely used and encouraged in the video game as mechanical and animation EXPLOITS to score because the cheesers and exploiters can't play SIMULATED hockey, it makes the game a laughable mess.
So again... Show ME how all that stuff happens multiple times a game in a REAL NHL game. Show me how many times cross crease passes get through multiple defenders, even the 7th D and call-ups. Show me how it happens REPEATEDLY in the SAME WAY over and over again in the SAME GAME.
I dare you.

How about you do the reverse and lead by example.
Show the people here footage of you playing a full game of "real" hockey.
- FantasyAuthor664 years agoRising Traveler@JubeiDOK Yeah, that makes total sense. Why not watch some actual NHL games for reference, seeing as the game is meant to be an accurate representation of THAT?
Seems to be the proper comparison to me. Or should all the alleged simulated sports games look like people playing backyard flag football, beer league softball, hitting golf balls at a driving range, playing tennis at a park, and so on? Is THAT how you want your "It's In the game!" to look and play? Or would you prefer it... you know... play like the professional equivalent it claims to be?
Make a better argument than that if you want to be an EA apologist.- 4 years ago
I'm sorry you took that comment as hostile.
But I don't think it's really fair to ask others to supply footage of their play if you're not willing to do the same.
I've played this game for many years and I've heard the same song about "sim" hockey year after year, but when you play games with these people they don't even understand how to skate in the game yet.
All I'm really saying, is there are a lot of different people out there, all playing what they think is real hockey and their views don't always match up.
So it will be easier for people to understand what you mean if you show them how you play.
