I would really like to see a LTIR into the game, so players may get injuries for several months (which happens often in reality), teams can then place these players on LTIR. I would also like to see that if we already know certain players will miss the beginning of the upcoming season, or even the whole upcoming season, that they will actually be doing this in the game. Would just add a reality factor.
As well as I have mentioned before, and I see others have as well, adding the ability to add in a new franchise every 5 years or so of the franchise, to go along with actual league growth.
I remember playing Madden back in 2004 where my number one draft pick wide receiver who was tearing up the league got a career ending injury. That was also back when they let you control more than one team so you and buddy could play out a franchise together. Be nice if they brought that over to NHL.
