Franchise mode game crash

    Hey, NHL Community.

    If you are crashing after yesterday's January update please let us know the following so we can get this information forwarded to the team to help aide them in putting out a fix.

    • What platform you're on
    • Are you playing on Gen 4 if you are on Gen 5
    • Where it's crashing or freezing in Franchise or Be A Pro
    • Do you get an error message? If so what is it
    • Does this happen for new Franchise/Be A Pro games
    • Brief description of what you're doing before it crashes

Does it crash on you if you simulate it in smaller chunks?

yes aswell it does it at diffrent times i can not know when it will crash

      So i am playing on a Playstation 5, and I have 2 created team franchise modes. This issue started after the most recent update. I have tried deleting the game and re-installing it, deleted saves and loaded backups, etc. 

      I have included 3 screenshots. As you can see the first one looks totally normal. And then when I advance one day the same game data for the game against Buffalo should be showing, but as you can see in the second image the game data gets blacked out. And just says Regular season. Then simulating anywhere past that point it force crashes the game. In the third image it's again missing the game data after the trade deadline, but in a completely different franchise mode and only 2 seasons in. This literally destroys the only mode I really like playing.

        @Bahamuta Yes unfortunately the NHL 22 has had a really bad year this year.. NHL 21 wasn’t very good especially with the removed/locked features and then the couple extra bugs they added in it really sucks. But now yes I do agree this really is one of the biggest bugs that is ruining the best game mode. They somehow got the goal sync crash bug into the offline game modes even though syncing shouldn’t happen since it is offline but it is there somehow which sucks too because now you can’t even play the games since it will freeze. And now if you try to sim past the games it will freeze and crash like what you got.
        @EA_Blueberry @EA_Aljo it really sucks that we can’t play the Franchise Mode because it crashes if we sim the games but it also freezes if we play the games (the goal sync bug I mean with that)
