Franchise mode game crash

• it crashes around 2032 to 2034 
• error code is ce-108255-1

Question about what you do prior to it crashing for you. Would you say you're swapping back and forth with save files before it happens? 

no i am just siming games it will just crash  it is random and can not pin point when it does it but it starts for me around 2032 to 2034 @EA_Blueberry 

 i think it could be an auto save bug cause it is like it goes to auto save and the crash happens 

@NoFaceAngl_275jI am sorry my friend but do not buy it.. the offline Franchise Mode game is not playable.. you get corrupted saves because it constantly crashes will simming.. there is the goal syncing bug that has been in the game for over a month now.. and the patch didn’t fix it for the offline modes.. save your money my friend do not buy it please take our warnings not even for 60% off it’s not worth it.. 

@EA_Blueberry do you guys know when this will be fixed i have been waiting for an update for it for over a month

I know experiencing crashes is annoying to experience and some people might not always be up to troubleshoot or provide details when they're being requested, but if you're able to help us increase the numbers in getting the info over to the team we're asking for it helps us in our roles get more push around specific issues.

• Where does it crash on you in game - For my I'm always playing franchise mode.  I'm in year 2030, and it started in 2028.  First few times was at the interview process for the draft.  every time I tried to advance to that day it would just kick out to the Toronto (Mitch Marner) start up page.  It would not save anything that had been done since the previous start up  and normal exit / shut down.  I was able to work around this by doing something prior to the interview day, like fire a coach.  Then the game would go on, as normal, although the first year I did this in 2028, there were no coaches available to hire, and I had to wait until another team fired a coach, who I could then hire.   Lately the game has been doing the same freeze up / kick off at various points in the schedule as I simulate days via the calendar screen.  Such as advance my season to January 31st, and then at January 20th, it just stops and kicks out to start up screen, etc...   
• What is the error message you receive - No messages ever appear.  Game just stops, and kicks out to start up screen.
• Have you tried re-installing the game to verify whether that helps avoid this - Game was a download.  I have not tried to re-install.  I do not want to lose my progress up to season 2030, which is where I'm at currently in Franchise mode.

I have not had this issue, today.  Maybe the latest update, helped?  Will let you know....  I've been stopping and saving the game after every major move I make, or a number of games simulated, etc....  to avoid losing my place in the calendar and having to start over.

Hi there,,,, Have there been any updates the past few days?  I did not crash yesterday, but I stop and save every few days with the simulation calendar.  I've tried reaching out to help chat but they are useless and cant see to fine any of these previous case requests or this conversation.  I have a video of this happening with me.  It's 156 MB so to large to upload.  I can't seem to compress, to get smaller. Thoughts??  I can't attached it here.. doesn't like the .MOV file

Should now be public.  I played this evening and made it nearly 1/2 the season and it again locked right up, right after I set my scouting assignments for the top 100 players... UGH!!!  Please fix this!!!

Can you let me know if you have the game running in quick resume if you press the Xbox button on your controller and go to My Games and Apps. If it's in quick resume, close that down. I've seen that cause game issues in the past.

My second question is whether you have your console plugged directly into the wall. Is it in the wall, a surge protector, or an extension cord? Xbox Support even states you want to have the console plugged directly into the wall as it has a built in surge protector. The video makes it look like you might be near the middle of the room.

For those on PS4 or PS5 experiencing an error, please let me know if this solution a player recommended in our Madden forum works for you.

I did not see a way to disable or find Quick resume for NHL 22, but I did notice my grandsons had loaded APEX on the XBOX and it was using a large amount of memory.  I have taken it off.  Can you be more specific on removing quick resume from NHL 22, or is this an XBOX settings thing?  Googling it was not very helpful.

As for power, I have moved the XBOX off the power strip and directly into the wall.   Let’s see if this does anything ?  Will let you know.

What you'll want to make sure you do when you quit a game is going to the Xbox home screen, highlight the game, press start, and then select quit.

To remove the game from quick resume press the xbox button on your controller so the sidebar shows up. Select My Games & Apps. The quick resume games would show up there. IF you see it, highlight and press start to exit/close it. If you don't see any games there for quick resume you don't have any running. 

If games aren't properly shut down it will use a lot of memory in the background which can lead to crashes to the dashboard like you were experiencing. A solid power cycle every once and a while will help do the trick. Try these below and you may instantly notice better performance. 

Also, one day I decided to clear out all my recorded captures off my Xbox. This might be anecdotical but after I cleared them all off my menu navigation was far more responsive. Likely due to clearing up more space on the console.

How to power cycle your Xbox console:

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

1. Plug the console power cable back in.
2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

Clear Mac Address

1. Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.

This step isn't fully required but it could help with game crashes due to corrupted files in the cloud and local drive. You will lose offline mode saves by doing this. Even if you select to delete cloud saves, HUT progress will NOT be deleted because it's saved to our servers in case you're playing that.

Clear the saved game data:

1. Open the Settings menu at the top of the dashboard.
2. Select Storage, then select System Storage.
3. Select Saved Data.
4. Choose a game to access the game's saved data.
5. Press the Options button and select Delete.
