@Beauts90 I think he’s saying that there is also UFA rookies ie rookies that didn’t sign their ELC yet. So instead of asking for the proper 3yr @ 1.2m, they’re asking for a 1yr 1way contract, which they shouldn’t be

@SkylerJames13I think we can both agree it is so hard this year to determine what is a bug and what isn't as there have been so many. Especially when it comes to waivers/contracts as they don't apply all the real life rules in the game. It's hard to answer this one....
I know if a player is 24 when they sign their ELC, it only has to be for one year, if they are 22 it only has to be 2. Anyone 25+ does not have to sign an ELC even if it is their first contract.
I just thought the bigger issue was they wouldn't sign a 2-way contract and signing a 1 way deal would make them have to pass through waivers, when really 2-way contracts are meaningless in this game and they would have to go through waivers regardless.
