What happens when the bug occurs? Scouts do not auto scout- they only scout the bottom 700 ranked players
What do you expect to see? Ummm for the game to completed and the auto scouting to actually you know ummm auto scout the players

Not solved technically yet. Still glitched but EA rep told me they’re aware of the issue and working to fix it currently 

I dont get how they can call franchise mode playable without scouting. How are you supposed to start a franchise you may want to play all year, taking a team 5-25 year into the future without being able to draft accurately? That makes the mode broken if you ask me. Like really how hard could it be to make it so the scouts dont auto scout pick 1232? Even if it isn't a perfect fix you would think they could throw out a quick update with accurate rosters and auto scouting the first three rounds.

Me too. I guess it's because all the players about to be drafted aren't playing in games (I see no stats from their prior season). I guess the scouts can't scout when they aren't playing? 

Also, anyone else notice defenseman are being graded by their fit on forward lines, instead of d-pairings? I know this thread is for something else, but did anyone else notice that?

The scouting bugs are probably the most annoying. These bugs didn’t exist in NHL 20 so it’s pretty annoying that they exist now. You can’t scout goalies, although they will automatically be scouted by the computer, to which, you can’t remove them from the scouting list. So you have no idea if you’re scouting a 20 CS ranked goalie or a 777th CS ranked goalie. The auto scout list for the low ranked players is baffling.

There are other threads detailing the extent of the scouting bugs, but yes, the scouting bugs in Franchise mode are crazy and need to be patched NOW.

While we're discussing manual scouting, in the "Select Prospects" page, can we get the player's potential listed? I hate having to click in to the player info and scroll down for every individual player to see if they are worth scouting. Maybe you can replace the "Team" column, because I can't see why that would be relevant information.

Edit player too is broken . You cant edit a player only your numver or name . Make no sense . And i got defensemen assign foward . Like wtf this game is trash ea is trash
