- Did you simulate any previous seasons leading up to this point - NO
- What team(s) are you controlling - MONTREAL
- What players are you trading - TAYLOR HALL TO ARI FOR NICK MERKLEY
- How many trades have you previously made up until the point it started freezing/crashing (to the best of your knowledge if you don't know the exact number) AFTER THIS TRADE THE SEASON BROKE. UNABLE TO ADVANCE PAST THAT DAY ON THE CALENDAR. CAN NOT PLAY OR SIM GAME PAST THAT DATE.
- Is this a season/franchise with a custom roster - YES
- Can you submit a screenshot of the trade that is freezing and/or recorded video clip of you slowly navigating all the menus prior to it freezing.
- Have you tried reinstalling the game prior to this - YES
- Do you use an external hard drive for your PS4/XB1 - NO
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
I am playing on an XBox One X
I play with FULL ROSTER CONTROL
I attempted a second season where I started from scratch and simmed past the day that the game broke. Everything was fine. I made a trade (can't recall if it was that same one or not) and the season broke. Same thing. Unable to move past that day.
I then restarted and simulated maybe 6 seasons to get past that point where my team had a record somewhat close to what it was in the original season. At this point, the game no longer breaks the season when I attempt a trade, instead literally 100% of trade attempts tell me that a team will be left with less than 2 playable goalies. I have been playing NHL since 96 so I know all the tricks to get around this (which is another massive headache each year) but none of them work. No trades will go through.

We play as Islanders and Pens. The last trade involved the Islanders got Pageu from Montreal. Got goalie error, so dropped him, signed him and now fan of make any more moves.
Complete your trades and then try to play the next game.
What happens when the bug occurs?There is a horrible noise, almost like an old school modem ring that lasts a few seconds then your are booted back to the home screen. You can re-enter the game and re-enter your season, which still has the trades made, but cannot play or sim past the next game without the same buzz and crash back to home screen.
What do you expect to see?I'd expect to be able to make trades (preferably without the 'less than two playable goalies' error that seems to be a continuing issue and then be able to continue playing in that season.

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Whatever time of day I make the trades and then try to play again.
