Franchise mode trade bug

• Game mode (franchise or season) - SEASON
• What year are you in - 1ST
• Did you simulate any previous seasons leading up to this point - NO
• What team(s) are you controlling - Calgary
• What players are you trading - Traded Scandella, Dillon, DeMello and Gautier/Keane
• How many trades have you previously made up until the point it started freezing/crashing?  I had made one trade before actually playing any games.  Played a couple more games and then made the Toffolli trade.  Maybe one or two more right then.  After game 4 or 5 made the four trades listed above (and received the less than 2 playable goalies error for the Keane/Gautier trade so I released someone from Charlotte to free agency)
• Is this a season/franchise with a custom roster - YES.  Only customized in the sense that I have made trades since the last update to follow real life.  Not created players.  No created teams.
• Can you submit a screenshot of the trade that is freezing and/or recorded video clip of you slowly navigating all the menus prior to it freezing.  No, because it doesn't freeze during the trades.  The trade is made then the freeze happens when you try to play the next game.
• Have you tried reinstalling the game prior to this - YES
• Do you use an external hard drive for your PS4/XB1 - NO

I am playing on an XBox One X

I play with FULL ROSTER CONTROL

I thought that a trigger may be the roster errors that you often get making trades in a season - injured players wreak havoc as they seem to count on the roster only in the trade screens and so even one for one swaps are not allowed.  Instead I traded every player to the minor league affiliate and then swapped players between AHL teams before swapping players back up to the NHL
