Franchise Player Substitution Issue

This is the solution I've been using in order to keep playing the game, but it's quite frustrating having to do this continually each time a player gets hurt, as the Best Lines option rarely gives me the combination of lines I'd like to see and often benches some of my best players for some reason.

I’m having the same problem except I have injuries turned off. It just randomly happens when I try to substitute a player. It’s really frustrating spending $80 on a game and it feels like EA doesn’t even make an effort. This is like the 5th blatant and awful error I’ve come across and I’ve had to just stop playing. 

I've been having the same issue.  I've found that if you dress the player first and then substitute it works........at least so far it is working that way.  This is pretty bad though......EA needs to look into this and patch it really quick.

@ScottGauvreau84 this is very frustrating to do agreed. And thanks @griffins4108 that does seem to be a bit better option.

Also, this doesn't fix this problem currently but I am going to say it anyways. I have long suggested that we have a "save line" option where we could save the line combos we set up instead of always having to hit best lines and manually change it to what we want. Would save so much time especially when players return from injuries.

Yeah, I had to restart the game in order to fix it. When seeing someone gets injured, the only other option is to "Head Coach Replace Player" and then later sub them, when simming, I always get stuck if I edit the lines by myself

I don’t know a company who is more pathetic about fixing their game then EA. Im so happy I didn’t buy this garbage for the past 5 years because you will constantly get ripped off because all they care about is HUT! Fix your game. 

This also 100% of time happens after a trade when you go to replace player in lineup,stuck in substitution screen. Just since update.havevto close application,wont let you back out either

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I trade my 1st pair D-man for another D-man, and when I am to replace the empty slot with my new player i get stuck on the screen displaying the options "Replace in all lines" etc.. you cannot press any alternative nor can you back out. This means I cannot trade players in the lineup for other players and put them in myself without using best lines.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get stuck
What do you expect to see? Not getting stuck and the player getting put into the lineup.
