Very likely to make the mode worse and worse every year until people stop playing it then be like, “we had to stop making the mode. No one would play it. ☹️“
@kyl_35 Very deceptive way to phase out the offline single player gamers… just so they can focus on selling their loot boxes… EA loves their loot boxes… just look how often they are in the headlines being labeled as deceitful, greedy, and taking advantage of their player base… especially young kids with access to parents credit card… get them hooked on gambling at a young age…

But I would actually play little extra to get the stuffs I want into the game, even if its offline stuffs.
Little like eFootball are doing with Master League - an option for those who wants it and it cost a little bit.
@MV75 I think at $60+ a pop per game, we pay enough money that by now we shouldn’t have to pay more just to have everything customizable. I haven’t touched NHL 21 (true dumpster fire) or NHL 22 (total train wreck) in months. I’m playing 18 & 19 because I want to actually have fun when I play and not get frustrated with the game!
I say every year that I’m not gonna buy the game, or I’m going to wait until they fix all the problems but every year I buy the game because I’m a glutton for punishment and I’m always hoping just a little that they actually fixed the problem
I get it. We all think that 60$/game should be enough to get more of what we want.
But the problem is that EA Sports doesn´t feel the same. And in the end, they are the one who decides what the game should have and not.
They day 75% or around that goes all together and not buy the game they will be forced to act, but we all are like you, we buy the game every year in the hope of being wrong that year about being disappointed...
So the only way to make EA see that they can earn MORE money by having pay to play things in the game are buy making us pay for what we want...
But also if I´m being honest here. I dont think NHL 22 was a bust.
I have played more NHL 22 than I have played the games before the last years, and I actually enjoy it a lot.
But I also thinks there could be more and better for us, and that would make me play even more than I do.
We want a Ferrari, but got a Volvo even if everyone on the forums says they got a Lada.... xD
