Game crashes when loading WOC

Product: NHL 22
Platform:Xbox Series S
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a brain
What happens when the bug occurs? EA broke the game again after a patch
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the game actually work and not crash when I load world of chel
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online

I can load HUT of course because you idiots need money but I can’t load the free to play game mode where the people with actual friends hang out. Fix world of chel so I can load the mode without crashing my game.

    I managed to find a fix for this issue. On Xbox, if you press start on NHL 22 and select manage games and add ons, select Saved Data, then select your gamertag then choose delete everywhere. This will NOT delete your online progress, but it will act as though you’ve never played the game before. Just load up the game as usual, go through the beginning stuff then go to world of chel. It’ll make you create a skater, but you’ll have all your progress back. Unfortunately I don’t play PlayStation so I don’t know the process over there but I’m going to assume it’ll fix it for PlayStation players as well

    I had just upgraded to a series x, couldn’t wait to play WOC with the boys and the game crashes loading into WOC every time. This is the first the game I downloaded to play on the new console. Downloaded pub g and assetto corsa to see if it’s just chel that is crashing. And guess what.... chel is the only game crashing. Well the only thing crashing is WOC specifically. Hours of troubleshooting and it still won’t load, I’ve given up. Also it’s a shame I’ve spent over 120$ For something that doesn’t even work. Any other product I would’ve gotten my money back. But I guess EA gets a pass 

    PLEASE FIX

    @ojandbacon1 its happening to me too on the ps4 version of the game operating it on ps5 console. Loading bar is 90% complete, then the wheel stops spinning and the game crashes.

    Hey, CHEL Community.

    If you're freezing when entering World of CHEL, update to the latest active roster for the game under Rosters and that should fix this for you. 

    The team has been notified of this and we'll update this thread when more info becomes available.

    @ojandbacon1 I can play old gen woc just not series X version. I’m so irritated I spent 120+$ on this game. Updated my console to a series x and the first game i download is chel and WOC doesn’t work. Aggghhhhhh game crashes after an EA loading circle in the top right.
