Game Edits my Lines before a game

In the be a GM mode, I go into the menu to fix my lines to the way I want them to look and when I am about to go into a game and make sure my lines are correct, The computer changes my lines. Once I change the lines back to the way I want them to be,  it kicks me out and puts me back to the menu of picking my jerseys. When I go back to the main menu to look at my lines, they are correct but every time I want to play a game and look over my lines it does it again and won't let me play unless I leave it alone. What do I do to stop this?
