    @Tallguy206 

    That's most likely why this is happening. Wireless will be less stable no matter how close you are, but if the signal has to travel through walls and/or floors, it's going to be more susceptible to disconnects and lag. As a test, can you move to a TV that is within reach of a wire just to see if it makes a difference?

Every time I play online there is an unbearable lag, every step it lags on my wifi (with 100 % signal strength constantly) and if I connect on my wifi booster it disconects me from EA servers or other players!
My ping/ms keeps fluctuating from poor to fair to good yet when i do a internet test on my iPad the Ping/ms is constantly good! NO fluctuating! Any other game I play I have no lag ONCE OR EVER!!! Only on NHL on NHL 21 and now NHL 22 I stopped because of this but tried to come back however EA sports has been making this impossible!
So to sum up
100% (constant signal strength)
100% constant ms and ping on any other platform I test it on but NHL
Other games no lag like GTA no lag not even once NHL every step it lags!
Did all troubleshoots, deleted and re installed the game!
Can any one actually help?

I have never received such horrible service from a chat support in my entire life 6 agents spamig me automated messages arrogant replies and disconnecting the chat "accidently"
Agents such as Sushant and Sumo and all these people one even said he found THE SOURCE of the issue being my email not being updated they update it nothing changed and guess what chat disconects
I hope someone can actually help??

    Hi there, @fanbase101 

    Are you able to move your console close enough to your router for a wire? It would be good to rule out any issues with being on a wireless connection.

      At the moment no since I am renting a basement and the router belongs to the home owners and is screwed in upstairs I am trying to see if can get another router to try this by in the meantime I still doubt this is the issue since my signal strength is constantly 100% and my ping/ms on NHL goes from poor fair to good all unstable but when I check on my iPad doing the test in the same room it's all stable?

      Also when I play GTA online I get no lags not even a bit literally none whatsoever however NHL seems to be the only game I have this issue with so I don't think it's an issue on my side it has to be something messed up on the server side (your side) connecting to me or something based on what I've just told you what do you think?

      Also thank you for quick response the chat support has been horrible so far

        Would you be able to move close enough to the router for a wire just to test this? Being in the basement with the router upstairs is a perfect recipe for lag.
