Game keeps freezing mid game

Product: NHL 22
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I play a game..about half way through the game will "freeze" for a few seconds then starts playing again but then will "freeze" again..once it starts it doesn't stop...makes the game completely unplayable any help would be appreciated
What do you expect to see? the game to work properly

Whenever I try to play a game, it will glitch/freeze, then stop but then goes back to glitching and freezing.. I cant even complete a game.

    @31cujo 

    I haven't heard of the roster update being an issue. I also think that would cause a problem loading into a game rather than freezing in the middle of one. Have you performed any customization to your arena or team? If so, try removing that and see if this still happens.

    Nope haven't done any arena stiff....I've never had an issue before just now after ea updated the game

    NHL 22 hasn't been updated in months so I don't think that would have anything to do with this. Is your game installed on the internal drive or are you using an external one?

    Well I haven't played it for months so the ipdate is "new" for me. All of a sudden doesn't work.
