In a GM Connected PS3 league I traded for a player. The team I traded with ended up with the player he traded for but I didn't end up with the player I traded for. Where is the player I traded for?

Heya everyone, After investigating your reports further, the issue still appears to be that your team has gone above either the salary cap or the roster limit. If you are over the limit during a tick advance, the game will automatically attempt to resolve this violation, either by placing the player on waivers or by releasing them. Now if the player is released, he will be going to Free Agency at the start of the next NHL season in the GM Connected league. Then they can be resigned, but they will not be shown on a roster until then. We hope this clarifies the situation and you should able to confirm this once your GM Connected league reaches its next NHL season.

Do you know if the trade you made put you over the salary cap? If you were over the cap when the schedule period advanced, the game will make adjustments to put you under the cap. That might mean dropping a player.

I've chatted a bit with the team and this is what I've been told is probably happening: I’d relay that its important to be UNDER the salary cap before the tick advances. If you are over the cap, the team will be forced to make moves to compensate, and that’s where weird things can happen, like star players getting put on waivers and sent to the minors. It may appear that the cap is still being affected if the team brings up additional players to meet the minimum number. If they remain below the cap at the end of every tick, this shouldn’t ever happen. In the case of the first poster, they likely traded up in salary, and went over the cap. They advanced the tick. Other team was fine as they went down in cap space, but now showstrikesback is over the cap so his team did something to compensate, which unfortunately ended up being putting his big new cap hit star player on waivers.

5 of my players Disappeared In Gm Connected mode too, they are not on my team or any other team, they just disappeared from the game.

During first season I lost Tarasenko from my team. At summer season I got it back after another team got him from waivers. During summer season I traded Tarasenko for some players that I had taken from waivers earlier. When Tarasenko came I lost I.Cole 85 Defender and Couturier 82 Center.
I can't find any reason why would players disappear during summertime as you have to be below salary caps in October when regular season starts.
I don't even mind writing down leagues etc. here again because I know that you are NOT going to fix this or return the players anyway.
Gm connected is a very nice idea, but when it's executed like this it just makes Verizone and EA a BIG JOKE!!
Anyway, now I have quitted playing GM connected and will never play it again. I just wanted to congratulate EA for not being able to make this working and not even paying attention towards problems. Not even the strongest dynasty lasts forever if you dont constantly work for it.

I would really like an EA employee tell me why 1). Why has this easy problem not been resolved by now and 2) Why not use the auto cpu deny system or at least have an option to clean your own roster before letting you play another game?? Blows my mind that youbhave 2 games inside your companay (madden and fifa) that have layed the blueprint for easy to run connected careers can't just cooy them and manages to mess up a key part in connected careers. So please EA give me a straight up answer.

November 10th and another time about a month ago
Made a trade for Bergeron and Lupul that had no effect on my salary cap. After the next advancement Huberdeau was nowhere to be found and has dissapeared. This happened another time in our first season. I traded for Patrick Kane and he dissapeared until I picked him up in free agency the following offseason. This has happened to me twice and it is getting very annoying. I'm worried i'm going to lose one of my better players if I keep trading.

Ryan O'Reilly never arrived in Phoenix. I Know it's Disappointing to be traded to Phoenix but it's not a reason to be MIA! Would be appreciated if you could fix this. Thank You Guys!
