Goalies leaving the net

When the opposition fires the puck down the ice and the goalie goes to play it behind the net he misses just about all the time. Why even make the goalie make that movement if that is what he's gonna do? He shud at minimum slow it down, not just miss it.

I have had trouble with this too. But last year in the playoffs a goalie missed the puck and the other team scored. All that i know is that you cant stop it. If your going down by alot you can replace your goalie woth the other one. Go to team manigment and seleced edit lineup. From there your goalie might not go behind the net on the times he cant get it. If this is not helpful im sorry. Then again if this does not work it may be imbossible to stop it until nhl15 comes out.

Yes this is definitely frustrating, what I do when it is crucial that my goalie stops the puck is I just take control of the goalie. On PS3 I believe the controls were the left button and the 'x' button, this is just off memory I may be wrong.

     - ps. you must use the same controls aforementioned to switch off of the goalie..

Now i have had the same problem but if the goalie leaves he MIGHT miss but it wont turn to a goal against. If he leaves just press (L1+X/ L1+A) and become the goalie and bring him back

    Hope this helps!!😄
