What area are you in? Also, do you use a wired or wireless connection and what system are you playing on?
@EA_Aljo its doing it again. Recommending south central. It’ll probably revert to east at 10, and my ping will go back to normal.

again, this is a new development, it’s not my internet, and I shouldn’t be routing through Texas servers to play with my buddies on the east coast and Canada

The server you should be getting put on is an average of the pings for your club. Are your teammates all in the Carolinas also? I'm in Texas and regularly play with guys in the NE US. My ping is pretty rough because we end up on the Central server. This is a lot closer to them than me, but that server is chosen based on the pings from everyone in the dressing room.
