how come connor mcdavid is not on the oilers roster that is so awful

also every time I create a player in NHL 16 OFFLINE SEASON MODE IT DOES NOT WORK

    my guess is because in real life NHL the rookies who stay up with the teams aren't final yet 

    once they become final...EA will eventually have them up with the team ..like mcdavid and eichel ..etc
