HOW DO I ELIMINATE GAME LAG?

When I play online VS, the game lags and slows down. It feels like the players are skating in molasses. It's not the same game as when I play offline. It's not fun at all. I just bought CAT 6 ethern...

If you're having trouble with lag, please start a new thread so we can go through some troubleshooting. I'll need to lock this thread since we don't allow "necroposting". This is when you respond to a very outdated thread.
