How do I load my custom AHL team as the affiliate to my custom NHL team?

I created two teams. One for NHL and one for AHL. For some reason, my NHL team is affiliated with the old outdated version of the AHL team. I have since edited it in the Creation Zone to improve it ...

Sadly, you cant choose a created one for the affiliate when you do a Franchise Mode.

I would love to be able to have it done like you have done, you could really prepare a fun save with an NHL and a AHL team done like you want to have it.

Its something that EA could improve with better customization options. But they usually taked decisions like they never test play their Offline modes before releasing the game....
