anlso what dose the yellow p stand for when to gain points?

To do a one timer you press the pass button and immediately shoot with the right stick to the player receiving the pass. The yellow P I am assuming means power play.

By the yellow "p" are you talking about the "game awards" at the end of a completed game? If so those are pucks you can redeem for the Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) which you can use to purchase packs for your team. And the previous exploitation for the one-timer is correct, unless its a pass to another human player, then that player will need to shoot the puck themselves as/just before they receive the pass.

so do you just have to hold up on the right thumb stick right before the pass just like 13? or more?
