HUT Buy It Now Disconnects from Server

Every time I try to use the "buy it now" feature for a player card I get disconnected from the EA servers!  I can bid on items, but can't buy them now. So I end up losing out on some great deals! Not to mention waste my own time? Can an EA admin take a look at this server-side and see if there's something wonky going on with my HUT account that's causing this?

    There is no "fix" for this issue that you can perform yourself, and even though EA eventually resolved it for me I was told they really didn't understand the issue, they merely just fixed the data in the database for my account (meaning it can happen to me again, and they don't know what made it happen in the first place).

    Give EA a call through the help prompts - http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/?product=nhl-2014 - and describe to them the issue, then say that THIS article on Answer HQ has detailed that the Studio in Vancouver has to fix your account in order to resolve the issue. You might have to try a few times because these customer service reps are given scripts and aren't really given any insight into stuff like this (so be nice, and be patient), but they should be able to escalate your issue to the studio to get a fix.
