That doesn’t help me at all… did you read what I wrote?
Hello, @Desiderata93
I absolutely understand the frustration with this. Unfortunately, once a team has been created on the new console, you won't be able to migrate from PS4/Xbox One. If this changes, we'll provide an update.

But EA knew about the one time migration long ago… why would there be no disclaimer about creating a team?
like I said, the PS5 version knew my team name from my PS4 account - why wouldn’t I assume everything was going to transfer over at that time?
EA has been exceptionally horrible to deal with regarding this… I talk to anyone and they refer me to the migration FAQ after I’ve already explained the scenario… I’m well aware of the criteria
And now basically I’m being told, I’ve paid for a PS5 version that I won’t be able to use unless I want to start over and buy more packs? Like, how is there not a simpler fix for EA
You have my gamer tag, you can see I’ve played no games on the PS5 version, once I realized my team didn’t transfer over, I went online and learned of the migration
You can also see that I’ve played NHL games under this gamer tag for the better part of a decade and played HUT for as long as it’s been around… I just don’t understand the poor customer service…
I’ve chatted with EA agents and they told me to post here for some unknown reason - I keep getting blown off
there should be some kind of compensation for this scenario… EA did not properly warn that you’d be ineligible for migration if you created a team, nor did it declare that the migration date wasn’t until December…

It was mentioned in the migration FAQ that if a team was created on a new console, the migration wouldn't be allowed.

Yes I am aware of that…
however, what no one seems to be acknowledging is that I wasn’t aware of that until after I attempted to log into PS5 version and learned my team wasn’t transferred over
my team name was transferred over - in my mind if my team name was there then my team would be - when it wasn’t I went on google and learned of the upcoming migration
my point was - why wasn’t there a disclaimer on the PS5 version about the upcoming migration and conditions?
EA put up information about the migration 2 days ago in HUT - that was the first time I saw anything related to the upcoming migration
so yes there was info about the migration conditions on the internet - but I did not know to go look for that information
having never migrated a system/game before, I followed the PS5 instructions to transfer saved data from PS4 to ps5 - then went on PS5 hut and learned my data didn’t transfer - only after I created a team - the PS5 HUT had my PS4 team name - of course I thought it would he transferred over
my point is why wouldn’t EA have put a disclaimer into the actual game earlier? They can put up screens for all the other info but there was nothing as I went into NHL on PS5 that informed me that if I created a team I wouldn’t be able to transfer my PS4 data
and that should have been there , as I paid for the version that was compatible with PS4 and PS5
so when you reference a migration page - I understand it was theremy point is how would I know to look ? It was the first game I went to play from one gen to the next

If you had created a team already on your PS5, you wouldn't be able to partake in the migration.
I don't have any details on the lack of a disclaimer. As far as transferring data between platforms, that's not something that could happen this year. Your game data is separate because they are technically separate games.
