Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hut play with friends.
What happens when the bug occurs? I recently moved my hut team over to the ps5 version of nhl and I want to play my friend in hut through the play with friends option and everytime I invite him it does not work. So then when he invites me my ps5 opens up the ps4 game to play against him and I do not have a hut team on there. Is there a reason why I cannot play against him with my ps5 version?
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play my friend against his hut team with my hut team.

I would like to play against my friends team who currently uses a ps4 and I have a ps5 and it will not let me into his game and vice versa.

There is no cross-generation play in NHL 22. Both of you will need to be on the same version. If you have the X-Factor edition, that comes with the PS4 version of the game. Downloading the PS4 version will let you play with him, but your current HUT won't carry over to it.
