Hybrid control buttons have stopped working

After 200 online games, the hybrid controller buttons just stopped working.  Square and circle do nothing when they should shoot wrist shot and slapshot.  This happened the entire beta test period. ...

Yes.  Multiple controllers do not work. 

I have seen this same issue in various iterations of NHL all over the internet people complaining of this same issue. Many of these complaints are on this website. 

How us this a new complaint?  It appears that people have been complaining about this same issue for years.

I'll keep an eye out for other reports of this. If you know of any, feel free to provide a link to them. That would help with the investigation. For now, the best I can advise is to switch to a different control scheme. Have you also tried reinstalling the game?
