Hybrid shooting issues

Whenever I am on the attack, and wanting to shoot, it never lets me. I can’t shoot a wrist or slap shot. I just keep skating with nothing happening. this is in the Be a Pro mode.

Did your settings happen to change to one of the other control schemes? Also, which system are you playing on? Thanks!

    No, controls are still set to Hybrid. I’m playing on an Xbox One

      What system are you playing on? Also, have you tried using a different controller? I just want to rule out any issues with it.

        I’ve already stated I’m using an Xbox One. This is a brand new controller.
