I got a msg from easportsnhlhelp on the psn saying i won a player of my choice in NHL 14, is this a scam?

Its is definitely a scam EA will never ask you to sent Email and Password Because they already have it inside their system,why do they still need it at all

EA will never ask for your PASSWORD!

I received the same message. I went on this forum to check. They would not ask for a password. They claim their name is EA-SPORTS--NHL. Subject line congratulations.

 I unfortunately was ignorant enough to believe it. Now my whole team has been wiped out along with all of my pucks!

I think its pretty pathetic for children or men to scam money from hard working individuals.   So to all I say this Never give out your personal info to anyone that is has an offer too good to be true.  Plus you can always come on line and check with the ea sports team!  🙂

I got a similar message but saying I have won 5 gold premium packs for Fifa. On following the link I have now gone back to FIFA and have lost EVERYTHING!!!!! The amount of time and money I have spent on that game and it is all gone! Spoke to EA on chat and they tried shifting the blame on to me! lol wtf! EA have clearly been sharing our details with third parties which have now been hacked and all of us who have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on EA products are now being F**ked in the arse. My hopes of anything being done about it or being compensated are low and even tho I am just one person willnever buy another EA game at all untill this is sorted. Which kind of sucvks cos I love EA games but f**k putting more money in here pokets. Sry bit or a rant but very very pissed off right now!

is there a correlation between all the guys that posted their usernames to that other thread (the requests from EA to help them play out the bugs)?

I know I'm new here, but that's a funny coincidence for that scam to pop up, and for there to be plenty of people who frequent THIS board as the potential intended targets.

I might also be grasping at straws, but I could be on to something.
