I've tried everything you've suggested, but if you have any other troubleshooting ideas (besides playing WoC or HUT) feel free to lay them all out here.
Regardless, I am thoroughly convinced it is not a connection issue and is a glitch in your software, as I often have a perfect connection when it happens. As do others who reported it.
Feel free also to provide a technical explanation how this can be a connection issue when the connection indicator/graph shows a perfect connection - I am still waiting for that...
I am thoroughly disgusted by your customer service.
Since you're unhappy with the support I'm offering, it would be best to contact an advisor for further assistance. If I see others with this same issue, I'll get it reported. You can open a case here.

So funny story @EA_Aljo, I went to the link you sent me and clicked report a bug, and it sent me right back to the EA Answers forums.
I have a few new things to report.
It recently happened for the first time in an online versus private match with me and a buddy of mine. It happened to me in the second period but not him. Then we cancelled out of the game and restarted the game, then happened to me immediately but not to him. I rebooted my PlayStation and then we played a couple games without it occurring to me.
So I draw a couple conclusions that make me further question this being a connection issue. First, it happens only to me instead of being "felt by both" during a peer to peer connection online versus game. Second, there seems to be a carry over that is independent of connection, and a software reboot might fix it.... the problem is if you start an online versus game with a rando you have to either suffer through it, or take a competitive rating hit.
And I came upon this gem in your forums, this dude @Natronbomb223 is claiming it happens in single player too.
So to recap
- I tried changing the DNS as you suggested at the beginning of this post, it made no difference.
- I have enabled UPnP and QoS as you suggested. My NAT type is 2 or moderate.
- I always use a wired connection
- It happens when the peer to peer connection is a solid green line
- It seems to happen only to one person in the peer to peer connection
- A PlayStation reboot seems to fix it at temporarily - but is too late when an online versus game is started
- I am not the only one this occurs to. I've shown multiple people that have posted video of this occurring to. I bet this is more widespread then is apparent as many just will stop playing. And people have reported it occurring in both HUT and WoC. And at least one person in single player.
- I have yet to be provided a technical explanation of how this can be a connection issue with a solid green ping/connection

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, without seeing if this occurs in a dedicated server mode, there's nothing else I can suggest.

Except I have shown you it happening in dedicated server modes like WoC and HUT. And even one person claimed it happened in single player. I can tell you that watching the videos of people who posted them of it happening in those dedicated server modes, I can 100% confirm it is the exact same issue. Stop treating me like I'm an idiot.
I have a suggestion. Investigate the issue myself and others are having, and stop deflecting and blaming us. Even if you couldn't figure it out until the new game, at least EA trying would mean something. These unacceptable answers are really your (& EA's) loss.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. A couple of people experiencing this on a connection that isn't yours does not prove the issue is on our end. Without seeing if the same thing happens on a dedicated server mode, we can't 100% rule out the lag is due to a peer-to-peer connection. Until that happens, there's nothing else we can do.

So @EA_Aljo, I am still incredibly disappointed in your (& EA's) customer service. I think it is unacceptable and pathetic.
Having said that, I just played with a dude who told me a work around for this issue. At least for the PS4, you hit the center PS button to return to the main menu, then re-click on the game. It worked once for me just now. If I notice that it doesn't work in the future I'll reply back, but for now it seems to be a decent work around.
I expect you to pass this info to everyone who asks about this problem. Kind of sad I have to do your (& EA's) job for you.
My buddy who told me about it said it happens to everyone, and while I think that might be an overstatement, from what I have seen via forums and YouTube video it seems kind of widespread. As I have stated before, most people who have this issue probably don't report (or look into) it and just quit playing. So you might want to fix it so you don't bleed players. If not, you're fools.
And on a side note you guys are full of baloney regarding it happening to a handful of people.... I found two more on your forums from October 2021.

Thanks for getting back to me @GansBar
Online Versus games take place on a peer to peer connection so you're not on our servers. If either you or your opponent are having issues with the connection, both will feel it. So, if you're wired and your opponent is wireless, you'll experience that as well. Also, distance is going to play a role so if you're playing others that are far away from you, that's not going to provide the best connection.
- 4 years ago@GansBar Mne sa deje to isté,ale skoro vždy ma to potom vypne a napíše,že mám zlé pripojenie.
- 4 years ago@EA_Aljo Pan manažér,už si trápny s tými tvojimi otázkami,veľmi dobre vieš o čo tu ide! Nechápeš to rozhorčenie hráčov,keď nemajú radosť z hry, ktorú si zaplatili? Veľká hamba vám!!!
- 4 years ago@KingPyrrhus981 Su to úbožiaci,naše problémy ich nezaujímajú.
