Injured players in game

When I am about to play a game I check the other tea m s injury list. I saw a top player out (unplayable injury) only to see him on the ice when I start t he game. The injured player was listed to be out for more than 4 weeks just before puck drop. I think the injury AI is flawed in  this. The only time I see this happen is during the playoffs so far. Has anyone else seen this yet?
