Have played this game since nhl 08 and never had a connection that has worked. I have tried over 10 routers, several modems, ethernet and wifi, and every dns/port forwarding/dmz/qos setting imaginable and nothing ever fixes my connection issue. I get absolutely zero lag ever the game is smooth there is just MASSIVE input delay and slow movement and response always behind my opponent. Always play wired on a 1ms response monitor and have zero issues with any other game or device. In game fiber I get 19-20 ms ping solid line never spiking with no packet loss. Cable is 23-24 and plays the exact same with input delay and slow game play. Game legit feels like 100 ms ping playing someone on 5ms ping. My opponents are always so much faster and have sharper cuts and zombie ai 99 overalls. I can't check anyone with the weird opposing magnetic like field between my player and opposing players bump my guy off every puck. I can't deke and my ai players react half as quick as my opponent and never forecheck or intercept passes like the other team does. 95 speed McDavid gets caught by 82 overalls I'm a good player and nearing d1 but it's nearly impossible to play this game in the higher divisions because my opponents have zero input delay. Lower division gameplay is faster and doesn't matter because it's so easy to beat people at this skill set. This is the first year I have refused to spend any money in HUT because I'm sick of the unplayable servers. I am in North Carolina playing on the Virginia server and all other servers are delayed as well.
