Jersey numbers are also missing for the AHL team when you play as Seattle in expansion mode. Across the board it’s an issue with create a team

Quick update for you here. The team has been making progress around this and is hopeful in getting it addressed in the near future. I’m not usually much of a complainer when it comes to video games, but it’s kind of ridiculous at this point. I’ve seen a few posts where y’all have mentioned it’s just a visual issue versus not being able to play at all on hut or freezing up or whatever was going on.
I think we can all agree making sure everything functions is more important than this issue, but it is not just a visual or just apart of the aesthetics of the game. NHL 22 is hyping up their X-factor, which is actually pretty cool…. Problem is when I’m playing I can’t look see the numbers on the back of the jersey to know exactly where my one tee is or where my tipper is etc. This completely changed the game.
It’s a shame, I think 22 is much better than 21. Y’all have made it less offensive dominant and a lot of things are cleaner and more realistic (although with the patch it seems like cross crease is super dominant again).
Then with the last patch they screwed up the ability to see if your player you’re offering a contract to will be a restricted or an unrestricted free agent depending on how many years you offer. I don’t understand how they went backwards there. When you add that in with no numbers it makes create a team completely useless to try and play a franchise right now.
At minimum, it’d be nice to find out if a patch will fix the issue once y’all have it figured out in franchise modes that are already being played or if it’ll require us starting our franchises completely over.

So this has been long enough and is now unacceptable. How do I go about getting a refund on an obviously terrible product?
You have to try to get it from your retailer (fat chance). The only true way to get a refund is if EA issued a statement apologizing for the game being a bugfest and encouraging retailers to accept returns. That will never happen, though.
