Lack of dual position players
I know not every player plays dual positions but in be a pro you have to select a secondary position when creating your player but in franchise it seems that draft prospects are like 1 in 50 have dua...
They aren't go8ng to tell you its out of spite. It got locked down in NHL 21 after 50 or 100 streamers told you how to break the game. They don't it when players beat them. So, they locked it down to prevent people from getting +5 on every line by cheating.
Not that +5 on every line matters, when you have have a 92 Franchise Goalie and 4 lines at +5 and fail to make the playoffs. Their sym engine and character generation is flawed. They won't fix it or care about it, becuase Franchise Mode is a 60+ (not 80 plus, you gotta look at the lowest value it can be bought for) where cards and other online modes lend themselves to microtranactions. Its a business.
What happens is 100% of the Franchise Players don't buy the game, well the 50% dropping hundreds and thousands on the online modes a year get preference. Its been that way for years and they won't admit to it, so save your efforts and don't keep asking
@EA_Blueberry prove me wrong.
Hey man, sorry about the assumotion. I saw the '$" and think US Dollar, I didn't know Canada used that symbol for their money. Thanks for teaching me something new!
As far as the love of the game, I am totally feeling you. EA just really frustrates me with this, but more so its the Streamers. People are always looking for the cheat. The only thing I did to edit was players was to change their positions (because you know I have 5 left rings and 2 right wingers and the prospects didn't get better because I have them in the wrong position or the player type, if I had a mislabeled prospects who were clearly PLY and not SNP. You know the things you should/can change about your players. But since they put all this emphasis on Line Chemistry and everyone wanted to cheat EA locked it down. Its basically just two big groups of whiners. The streamers who want everything on easy mode, looking for expliots and the devs who want you to play their way or no way.
Man, it used to be so much fun. I love the scouting (though to be honest they need to make it so you can set people multiple times in a single run) and I have all these rules, like my Head Coach has Carry/Shoot, IDC if you are elite potential if you've got Dump/Cycle, I'd rather take that Top6F that will slot into my forward line and make it a +5. That type of thing. Ah, when the game was good.
They are simply trying to push everything to the online game play so they can make more money off people buying packs. I had to stop playing NHL22 and switch over to 2k games that are more fun in franchise mode. Glad I didn't buy EA NFL this year as well. Next will be to cancel my EA Play account since the only games I got it for was NHL and Madden.
We are twins with the @heavydutyrammer I need them to fix this game. Its the first one to include Seattle, and I really wanted it to be good. I guess I'm going back to NHL 20 - Which hurts... I really like X-Factors.
With the lack of dual position players we need to be able to edit players to correct this. Heck I'm not even going into the fact that some players are like Swiss army knives and are able to play all 3 fwd positions successfully in real life. Just let us make the adjustments to the players.
We still fighting this battle?
They already said they aren't giving us the ability to edit players. No matter how many great arguments we have, or develop.
Instead we should focus on talking about what they can do to enhance the game. Oh wait, they really don't care about Franchise.
There are like 6 of 7s on the forums talking about it. And we've talked about it a few hundred times. They know.
