Lately Playing NHL 14 Ive Been Getting Random Blue squares on the ice

While im skating , these rectangular bluish boxes populate near me as  I skate through an area. The boxes have some kind of patteren within them, ,not quite checkerboard, maybe diagnal lines.Any ideas what this is, video scaler chip or something?

You must have created plays turned on. I'm not sure exactly where to turn this off as I don't have the game in front of me right now, but it's in your game settings somewhere.

its the game telling you where you should be on a forecheck, like the positional arrows. go into the settings and u can turn it off from there.

That's right. Created plays are red squares I think. Just haven't had this stuff on in ages. Thanks rosecitysniper!
