@Mathem8tic It's possible there's a bug causing that to happen. I'll pass on the feedback here and update if I have any news. If you have any other details, let me know. Thanks! Edit: Something to check is to make a note of your RP at the end of each game and then when this happens again, compare the current RP to see if it's correct. Most likely, this is just a visual issue and the correct RP is being calculated.

@EA_Aljo This problem is very prevelant. In 6s drop ins this happens all the time. In fact is has happened both of my last two games. The most recent my team was up 5-1 and then other players both teams quit. I assume there was no longer enough players to contiune so it showed the typical generic connection lost messaging. Upon entering the game summary screen, I see my account has subtracted -500RP and then it continued on to show the PREVIOUS games summary. From what I can tell if the game does not complete correctly then the previous games summary is used to calculate the current games outcome RP wise.....Obvioulsy when you winning in a game and the players quit out you dont expect to lose RP...I cant even count how many times this has been the case over this years release. In drop-ins, if you're the only human player left, the game should continue. As long as there's one human left on the opposing team that is. If they have all left and you're the last player, the game will end, but you should get the win and RP in that case. Is this the only mode where you're experiencing these disconnects?

@EA_AljoSo from my experience, Im pretty confident that that threshold is 2 players on each team for drop ins. I cant say in all the 500+ games I've play that I have ever been 1 on 1. Anytime it becomes 1 on 1 the game ends with some sort of error message, normally its the 'lost connection'. I basically only play drop ins so I can't speak to the other game modes.

I would check into the scenerio mentioned above where the previous games outcome is used for calculating current game if it ends in all the other players quitting.

Another reason I think its 2 on 2 minumim is that if your in the dressing room and there is only 1 player on each team the game will not start.

Apologies for that. You're right. There's a 2v2 requirement. So, if everyone on your side leaves while there are at least 2 players left on the other team, you'll get the loss. As far as using the previous game to calculate RP results, I'm checking on that, but as far as I know, that's not supposed to happen. I'll update when I have more details.

@EA_Aljo Yes I think you got it correct now. Obviously if we can get to the bottom of this it might solve a few issues that people keep reporting about loss glitches. I'd bet the farm that there is some sort of miniscule line of code that is slightly off and thus creating these outcomes for people when the other team quits and they end up losing RP and taking a loss. Please do keep me informed, this has been arguably the worst bug I've seen in terms of ruining the integrity of the RP system.

@EA_Aljo To your edit: I agree, occasionally the summary screen shows that you lose RP and then the following game you end up getting an RP higher then what the last game gives you. Once in a while it seems to level itself out. But I can say for sure that it happens less often then the scenario mentioned above.

@EA_Aljo I have monitored things pretty close since the new season and I think the RP does indeed correct itself within 2 games most times. It seems the main 'glitch' is just that the displayed RP does not always correctly represent the current RP of the player in the post game summary. Not too bad, but it will continue to make people think something is buggy I'm sure.
