Need advice for developing Players

To develop players with Elite/Top 6 potential  I usually: 1. Leave them the minors to develop sometimes 2. Use the AHL 3. Put top players on 1st line in the AHL 4. Make sure they have 70+ point s...

I always try to get a generalist, forwards, defence, and goalie coach with as high of a teaching grade as possible for both NHL and AHL. I have no idea if it works.
