NHL 15 can't open collection bonus pack

Update 1 - Jan 7th (via EA_Nils): As per the posted update here, the studio is already investigating the issue and looking at how to best implement a fix. Thank you for your continued patience.

I completed a couple collections and I have the red "!" but when go over the  "my packs" section pressing A does nothing. Please fix this, this makes HUT almost pointless and boring if you can't get a collection bonus.  

Also as a side not I find it very annoying that when searching in the trade section for logo's and jersey's there is no section called "national" if you want to find and national teams logo or jersey then you have to click any and just scroll through the thousands of random jerseys and logos you don't care about.

One more thing, sometimes when I buy a player or item and I select send all to my collection, the game will freeze.  This doesn't happen every time but has happened multiple times.

    As some of you had noticed already, we implemented a fix that should alleviate the issue. Please check your My Packs folder.

    I got exactly the same 3 bug! COmpleting collection is the key to get a better team... So hope you guys will fix this!

    Anyone figure out why we cant open our packs after collections are complete.  Why that red triangle is holding my packs hostage?

    Come on EA fix the problem so we can open our packs for completing a collection. It's 2014 how hard can it be to allow us to open a pack

    It's a bit ridiculous that nothing was changed in this game but these bugs are still going on. It's been a week I haven't been able to get my pre order packs either. We give you a lot of money EA. help us out.

    Also, you cant search CHL either.  This was a big PITA on 14 as well.

    COME ON EA FIX THE PROBLEM before I burn this disc because I just spent $70+, figured might as well since its useless.

    i talked to EA help online support, and they said you have to complete a certain amount of games before you can open packs from collections

    I'm having the same issue.. This doesn't even seem like a hard issue to fix. Or at least give us an explanation on why we can't open packs. Instead I have to go on an EA forum and hope they actually read these things. This may be the last time I buy any game from EA. Obviously they have to work out bugs, but this is just ridiculous. Give us all something, even a "we are aware of this situation and are looking into it"..

    I have no idea where to begin venting my frustrations or trying to understand just what the hell went wrong with the making/support on NHL 15. I actually have to sell this product at my workplace and when people ask if I would actually recommend this game,  I can not help but hesitate and explain situtations like the aforementioned. I personally pre-ordered the game and have not been able to open a "my pack" since day one. It seems they took an entire year not to actually just give us an updated NHL 14,  they actually gave us a lesser, more bug riddled version of NHL 14.
