NHL 15 can't open collection bonus pack

Update 1 - Jan 7th (via EA_Nils): As per the posted update here, the studio is already investigating the issue and looking at how to best implement a fix. Thank you for your continued patience.

I completed a couple collections and I have the red "!" but when go over the  "my packs" section pressing A does nothing. Please fix this, this makes HUT almost pointless and boring if you can't get a collection bonus.  

Also as a side not I find it very annoying that when searching in the trade section for logo's and jersey's there is no section called "national" if you want to find and national teams logo or jersey then you have to click any and just scroll through the thousands of random jerseys and logos you don't care about.

One more thing, sometimes when I buy a player or item and I select send all to my collection, the game will freeze.  This doesn't happen every time but has happened multiple times.
