I am having a similar issue on the Xbox360. In my LTL mode, I know exactly where in the season the freeze is going to happen.
Does the problem always happen on the same day in your LTL as well?
This is happening for me too (on PS3) every time I try to get to November 28th.
I'm stuck right now on Jan 9, 2015 trying to go to Jan 10, 2015 in the QMJHL.
It did this one before when trying to sim 6 days in a row but I was able to get past it when doing one day at a time. This time I have no off days inbetween games, very fustrating. I've been down a few days due to this error.
do you also have the glitch where the player that you are waiting to come off the ice gets stuck behind the opposing teams net? 2-20 seconds or so.
I'm stuck between back to back game days in the QMJHL as well.
(And yes, I see them getting stuck behind the net, facing the boards, probably once every 3 or 4 games.)
I have spent over 10 hours trying to get support from EA for this. my only option was to delete all my save files and start over because no one could/would help from the company
Mine is stuck at November 24th. Cleared the cache and that did not help.
I've also tried the fix I heard about, where you create a new LTL career, save it, exit, then save the original file over the new one. So far, it looks like there's still no answer. (At least none that's I've seen.)
The only "solution" that actually worked for me, was to completely delete my NHL15 save files and start all over again. After the MANY hours that I spent with EA tech support, that's the only suggestion they had. The guy decided that I might feel better if he informed me that he was also a gamer and he appreciated me bringing the problem up, even though he could do nothing to resolve it. Thanks a million, EA.
I was extremely wary of buying this game, but a friend of mine was so impressed with the adjustments that they made to the physics and everything, so I went in. And he was right, because the physics are definitely improved. It's just a shame that I can't be sure when my Live The Life or my Be A GM might randomly fail because EA doesn't know what is wrong with this game. Not to mention, waiting in 1.5 hour lines just to chat with some "support" person is really frustrating; especially under these conditions:
1. the person doesn't know what he is doing (and sometimes forgets what console he is troubleshooting for)
2. the chat gets randomly disconnected, you have to start from the back of the line again
3. once you finally call them enough to speak to a real EA representative, that person doesn't offer anything but half-hearted consolation.
4. if you keep trying to get yourproblem resolved, they stop giving you the option to contact EA; your only option becomes "visit the answer HQ" where a bunch of other frustrated people are seemingly talking to themselves.
EA is, nowadays, always in the discussion when people bring up the worst companies. In this category, they compete with the likes of companies that legitimately disrupt people's lives (like monsato or koch industries), and this is just a video game company! In the end, this product is in no way vital to anyone's life or family life, yet they still manage to infuriate people to the point that they get hated as much as a cable company. Disgraceful.
I was going to put a more specific message to EA in th post, but they obviously don't even look at these forums so why waste any more of my freaking time....
