NHL 15 won't connect to xbox live.

I purchased a digital copy of NHL 15, to play it generally for the reason of HUT. After downloading it starting loading up, just simply will not connect to xbox live once in the game. Never had this issue before, I uninstalled it and installed it 3 times. I also spoke with Xbox and they said I'm warranted a new copy from EA. Please help, someone.
