NHL 16 is the best hockey game on the market
At first I was disappointed that an online EASHL game was basically unplayable from the lag issue, but thats ok because I can always just grind some single player be a pro while they repair the broken club captain issue.
Then after finding the settings and my be a pro save file itself is broken as well I didn't let it stop me, I am always able to play some online vs mode even though I am unable to create my own plays anymore. After finding that the controller setting used results in a glitch that will not allow me to adjust my strategy, effectively breaking down the online vs mode... I still didn't give up!!
I built my own team in HUT mode. The new single player seasons is cool it let me develop my team before taking them online to challenge other HUT players. Then one game in the first period I got a major penalty, had to kill off the 5 minute penalty. I did but I never got my fifth skater back! Two and a half periods passed with the other team on the man advantage. This penalty issue could break the entire game in every mode, but I still won't let that stop me.
The customer service and technical support structure is built to serve each gamer with any issue that may arise, and I was easily able to express any concerns to their technical team both within the forum and at this easy to use questions page. After being assured there isn't anything anyone could ever do to make even a minor repair, I understood and realized I just need to be patient while the brand I'm so loyal to works hard to repair their latest release that is still after two updates completely overrun with issues.
Now I just float around in practice mode with one skater skating around in circles around the puck because practice mode with one skater is the only game mode that is working correctly. (If you don't get the puck)
I have full confidence in the team that develops these fantastic games as they are always so much better than their competition, those other new hockey video games just aren't as good as this one!
