NHL 18 HUT Failed to retrieve data

NHL was working fine, I'd taken a few day break from HUT and then saw the recent allstar packs were out so I purchased to largest one and tried to go online after. I received the following error code:

"Failure to Retrieve Data; please try again later.

ERROR CODE: 12041973D56ED33E-0000000000009999-38BC3F61FF18AAE2"

I'm on PS4

I can use the marketplace and auctionhouse still but can't play NHL online. Would really like a fix to this.
