NHL 18, Hybrid Controls fixed?

Ive been a fan of the NHL series for a very long time, but one thing i never really got into was switching from classic stick pretty much to the new skill stick. I was just wondering if in NHL will people who use the hybrid controls have more options this year unlike the last. I noticed on the xbox one still the one touch passing is still an issue or delayed, passing seems all over the place at times, also and the biggest thing in my mind is line changes and strategy changing. I understand it is hard to just remap the controls or add in controls because it will mess with other things. But i play franchise mode more than anything and online here and there, it starts to get annoying in franchise mode when you can't choose your best line when you would like or the power play unit you want on the ice or when on the ice they would stay out there for longer than they should pretty much. I know with hybrid controls the D-pad on Xbox one is not being used for anything and think that could be an answer to the problem for no line changes and strategies. Its something that i know a lot of hybrid control players want.
