NHL 19 Sim Engine Crash Franchise Mode

I'm trying to figure this problem out too. It appears that I can still enter the Sim Engine with my AHL team but not my NHL team. I am using an Expansion franchise with custom rosters. Nothing I have tried has worked yet. This is the only way my game has crashed so far.
